Best southern food in Memphis

We dined here with two other couples that suggested that we join them. We instantly fell in love with this place. Staff was very friendly and helpful, great atmosphere, and the food was absolutely delicious. That catfish had to come from Lake Varnell. “That catfish is delicious. Fry it dye it, lay it to the side. Red beans and gravy, I ain’t too lazy!!” 😂😂

We came here for lunch on a Saturday after spending the morning at Amuse and had the best time. Everyone’s food was absolutely delicious! Even the kids meals had all of the adults trying to take food from their plates. Our waitress, Mel, did a phenomenal job, taking care of our family and made us feel so welcome and cared for. We sat outside on the cobblestone front porch still inside the mall, and it was absolutely perfect as our kids, who are just kids and a little loud at times. We enjoyed hearing the live jazz band and walked up the stairs to watch them in person for a few minutes. Can’t wait to return!

The Cajun Egg Rolls were delicious. I had the seafood pasta. The seafood was perfectly cooked. My partner had the ribs with the crab mac and cheese. The ribs were tender and juicy. No knife needed. They fell off the bone. We spilt a side of greens which were great. For dessert, we split the beignets. Perfect. We had a delightful conversation with the owners who were gracious. Thanks ladies.
